Analisis Retakan Pada Horizontal Stabilizer Spar Pesawat CASA C-212-200

Abstract

Spar berfungsi sebagai penahan beban lentur serta penghubung struktural antara wing atau stabilizer dengan fuselage. Dalam menerima beban dinamik saat operasi, retakan yang terjadi pada spar umumnya karena fatigue. Pada horizontal stabilizer front spar pesawat komersial jenis CASA C-212-200 ditemukan retakan dengan arah rambatan berbeda dengan arah rambatan retakan yang biasa terjadi pada kegagalan fatigue. Metode pengamatan dilakukan secara visual pada front spar dengan analisis berdasarkan teori analisis kegagalan. Dari hasil pengamatan terlihat bahwa front spar mengalami retakan akibat fenomena Stress Corrosion Cracking, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk mengganti material komponen dari Aluminium Alloy 7075-T6 menjadi Aluminium 7075 T73.
